Hong Kong Airport Construction Fee (ACF)

It is announced by Airport Authority Hong Kong that the Airport Construction Fee (ACF) will be collected on air tickets issued on/after 01 August 2016. Hong Kong Airlines will collect the ACF from departing passengers, including origin-destination (Passenger departs from Hong Kong) and transit/transfer, at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) when air tickets are issued.

Long Haul - America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Asian Sub-Continent and Southwest Pacific

HKD180 per passenger

HKD160 per passenger

Short Haul - all destinations other than Long-Haul destinations

HKD160 per passenger

HKD90 per passenger

 

Transfer/Transit

First/Business Class

Economy Class

Long Haul - America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Asian Sub-Continent and Southwest Pacific

HKD180 per passenger

HKD160 per passenger

Short Haul - all destinations other than Long-Haul destinations

HKD160 per passenger

HKD70* per passenger

 

*Exception for Transit (same plane) and Transfer (under 24 hours only)

- The transfer exception for economy short haul passengers does not apply for transfers from a ferry services to an air service.  For ferry to air transfers, the higher amount of HKD90 will be applied.
