1.Preferred Seat (“Seat”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By purchasing the Seat, you shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
2.The Seat is only available for purchase via Hong Kong Airlines official website: www.hongkongairlines.com and its 24 hours Customer Service Hotline.
3.The Seat is only available for one-way and/or round trip selected economy class tickets for flights marketed and operated by Hong Kong Airlines only. Not available for special flights or code-share flights.
4.The price of the Seat is based on individual sector for each passenger and subject to currency fluctuation.
5.The price of the Seat is non-refundable and non-transferable.
6.Purchase is not completed or accepted by Hong Kong Airlines until payment has been received.
7.Purchase of the Seat is not applicable for FWC points accrual.
8.Air tickets with the Seat purchased via the official website of Hong Kong Airlines 7 days or more prior to the flight scheduled departure time involving itineraries to/from the United States of America can apply for a full refund of the whole itineraries (but excluding the price of the Seat) within 24 hours of reservation.
9.Passengers may select and purchase the Seat without any charge if they purchase the air ticket(s):
a. with Flexifly;
b. by holding Fortune Wings Club Platinum cards and such booking with the same passenger name record includes their travel companion(s) in a maximum of 4.
10.The Seat can be purchased/reserved via Hong Kong Airlines official website: www.hongkongairlines.com and its 24 hours Customer Service Hotline but in any event, must be purchased at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
11.The Seat is subject to availability and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The Seat availability is also subject to aircraft type.
12.The Seat is not applicable to unaccompanied minor (i.e. children aged 6 or above and below 12 who travel alone) and redemption ticket. The Seat is not available for infant tickets.
13.Hong Kong Airlines will not be liable for any matter or loss in relation to any error or omission due to technical problems including but not limited to any computer or internet network issues.
14.In the event of the circumstances as set out in Article 9.2.2 of our General Conditions of Carriage, passengers shall submit refund applications to our 24 hours Customer Service Hotline within 90 days from the date of scheduled departure time.
15.Passengers are advised to check with the latest Outbound Travel Alert before planning their trip.
16.Nothing in the Terms and Conditions shall confer any third party rights or benefits.
17.The Seat/air ticket with the Seat is subject to the General Conditions of Carriage published by Hong Kong Airlines (subject to change from time to time) and is available on Hong Kong Airlines’ website.
18.Hong Kong Airlines reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
19.In the event of any dispute regarding any of the Terms and Conditions, the decision of Hong Kong Airlines shall be final.
20.If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English and Chinese versions of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
21.The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
