We are committed to providing a comfortable journey to our valued passengers. If you have any special service needs, please contact our Reservations Office 72 hours prior to departure.
Wheelchair Service
Wheelchairs would be provided for you should you require this service. For passengers who require wheelchair service because of illness, a medical certificate may be required to confirm the fitness for travel, please contact our Reservations Office for details.
Pregnant Passengers
Passengers who are up to the 36th week of pregnancy are accepted for travelling.
Passengers who are in their 33rd to 36th week of pregnancy are required to present a medical certificate (issued within 7 days before the flight) confirming the fitness to fly and expected date of delivery.
Passengers who are over 36th week of pregnancy will not be accepted for travelling.
Infants Travelling with Passengers
Owing to limited facilities onboard for infants*, only a certain number of infant passengers can be accommodated, please contact the Reservations Office for prior arrangement.
When an infant has reached the age of two during any sectors of a journey, a child ticket is then required for travel.
If a passenger is travelling with two infants, one of the infant passengers (who must reach 18 months) will have to travel on a child ticket as "infant occupying seat".
*Baby bassinets are not provided on the aircraft.
Unaccompanied Children and Minors
"Unaccompanied Minor (UM) Service" is provided to children from the ages of 6 to 12 who are not travelling with an adult. To ensure proper arrangement, please inform the Reservations Office 72 hours prior to flight departure.
Pets and animals
No pet or animal will be permitted in our passenger cabins. Pets are required to be transported as cargo and kept in cage in the loading compartments. Please check with the local authority or government office for all necessary documents (e.g. health certificates, special permits)* for importing pets into your destination country.
*Passengers are required to prepare the documents. Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways are not liable for any issues arising from the importation of pets.
Special Care Arrangement
Passengers who may require special assistance due to health-related problems are required to contact our Reservations Office in advance to request special arrangement.
Passengers with medical conditions are required to obtain medical clearance and inform the Reservations Office at the time of booking. They are also required to travel with a companion who is over 18 years old. Airport staff will check the medical clearance form and ensure that all medical clearance requirements are met before accepting the passenger for travel.
