Hong Kong Express Airways Announces New Executive Appointment

Hong Kong, 8th January, 2008 … Hong Kong Express Airways has today announced the appointment of Mr. Raymond Ng as Director, Marketing and Sales.

Joining Hong Kong Express Airways from Oasis Hong Kong Airlines, Raymond brings to his new role a wealth of strategic and tactical sales and marketing experience gained from more than 30 years of working within the travel industry. Best known for his successful management of United Airlines’ agency distribution network in Hong Kong, Raymond’s career has also included key management positions with airlines including Continental Airlines, United Airlines, Dragonair and Cathay Pacific, and travel agencies such as Citizen Thunderbird Travel and P&O Travel with which he served as company director in Canada.

“We are all very pleased to welcome Raymond to our team at the start of what is going to be a pivotal year for Hong Kong Express Airways,” said Mr. Ronnie Choi, President of Hong Kong Express Airways. “His track record in growing partnerships and managing effective sales teams will be invaluable to achieving our growth objectives for 2008 and beyond.”

In his new role with the airline, Raymond will be responsible for formulating and driving the airline’s strategic branding and marketing plans including strengthening cooperation with industry partners, devising promotional strategies and enhancing the airline’s distribution channels with a particular focus on online platforms.
