Changes to Free Baggage Allowance on Hong Kong Airlines Economy Class

In response to changing market conditions, Hong Kong Airlines will make adjustments to the free checked baggage allowance of our Main Economy fare.

 

From 28 April 2021, customers who purchase Main Economy fares or HKA Holidays packages will be entitled to 20 kg free checked baggage allowance. The free checked baggage allowance for FlexiPlus Economy fare remains unchanged at 30 kg.

 

Customers who have already purchased tickets should also take note of the following:

 

-          For ticket issued before 28 April 2021, the free checked baggage allowance is based on the original ticket purchase.

 

-          For special ticket handling via our Customer Service Centre on or after 28 April 2021, the terms and conditions of the reissued ticket shall prevail.
